We Are Hiring:
Junior Java Developer (Java + MySQL)
Location: Athens office (Hybrid)
Type: Full-time
We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer who wants to grow while contributing to real-world healthcare innovation.
Your Role
As a Junior Java Developer, you will:
- Participate in the development of backend modules for our PDMS and Anesthesia platforms.
- Work with Java 8+, Java EE, JPA, and CaptainCasa.
- Interact with relational databases (MySQL) and write efficient SQL queries.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Work on real hospital-integration workflows (HL7, device data, clinical processes).
- Contribute to testing, debugging, documentation, and CI/CD tasks.
What You Bring
- Good knowledge of Java.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate or general ORM concepts.
- Basic understanding of web application development.
- Eagerness to learn enterprise Java, medical data workflows, and real-time systems.
- Team spirit, responsibility, and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills (Not required, but great to have!)
- Experience with Java EE.
- Knowledge of REST APIs or JSON.
- Exposure to HL7 / healthcare IT standards.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, or Docker.
